Friday NightTAKEAWAY

Legal

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Friday Night Takeaway (“we”) collects and uses personal data when you use this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, email, phone number, number of people, pickup choice and any notes about allergies or requests.
  • Reviews: the name you choose to display, your email (never published) and your review.
  • Messages: what you send us through our contact, catering and cookery forms.
  • Weekly menu emails: your email address, once you have confirmed you want to receive them.

Why we use it

To prepare and hand over your order, contact you about it, reply to your messages, publish reviews you submit, and — only if you asked — send you our weekly menu. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.

Remember my details

If you tick “remember my details” when ordering, your details are stored only in your own browser (local storage) and never on our servers. Your basket is stored the same way. Use “Forget my details” to clear them.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required for our accounts (up to 6 years). Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who processes it

Our website host and email provider process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements. Maps on the pickup page are provided by Google.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by emailing contact@fridaynighttakeaway.com. You may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the site to work (for example, remembering your language or keeping staff signed in to the dashboard). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
